Dr. Shashank S was presented with the Burka Award at the International Technical Meeting of the (U.S.) Institute of Navigation held in San Diego, CA, (Jan-2013). The Burka Award recognizes the best technical article having appeared in NAVIGATION, The Journal of The Institute of Navigation last year. Recognition is for the paper titled A Composite Model for Indoor GNSS Signals: Characterization, Experimental Validation and Simulation, which appeared in the Summer issue (Volume 59, No. 2, 2012). This paper was also co-authored by Dr. Daniele Borio and Professor Gรฉrard Lachapelle.
